False positive on Driver Genius

On January 29, 2021, Microsoft Defender has flagged our new version Driver Genius 21 as a virus. Of course, this was a false positive.
We have contacted Microsoft Defender ATP team and they fixed the issue within 3 hours. However, other antivirus companies not responded so quickly. We have submitted the false positive report, but some companies still no reply.

Driver Genius has been following the clean software rule since it release in 2002. No AD, No bundled software, No user information collection and No uninstall residues.

Please follow the steps below to install Driver Genius if you encounter antivirus software false alarm.

1. Disable the antivirus software then download and install Driver Genius 21 from https://www.driver-soft.com.
2. Add Driver Genius installation folder to the white list of your antivirus (C:\Program Files (x86)\Driver-Soft\DriverGenius)
3. Enable antivirus.
4. Please contact the antivirus support to report this false positive and send us your antivirus name, we will contact them to fix the issue.
